I love this track, and quite honestly, you are one of my favorite musicians. Would you be able to recommend me some artists, songs, or game tracks similar to what you compose?

ILG924 responds:

Thanks, that means a lot! I guess most of the stuff I upload is influenced by videogame music, Nobuo Uematsu is one of my favorites. Motoi Sakuraba and music from Falcom Sound Team are also very good. Specificially the Ys series from Falcom. Lately I've been listening to Sound Horizon, some really nice music if you can stand the japanese vocals.

The mood of this track was mostly influenced by some of Michiru Yamane's stuff from Castlevania

Damn, you're getting great at making music! Love the tempo, instruments, and beat; nice work!

ILG924 responds:

Thanks! That's quite a compliment, I'm glad you liked it. I've been trying for some more interesting chord progressions and time signatures lately

Nice work man! Really loving the melody, and props for using the clavichord in this track well, its an underappreciated instrument :D

ILG924 responds:

You're right about that, clavichords/harpsichords aren't used very often in music today. I've been listening to some baroque music lately, so that's why I decided to use it in this song

Thanks for listening!

I'm no music expert, but I thought this loop was pretty good. The song was a little basic, but it still sounded good. If you are trying to go for an old nes sounding track keep it like this. If you want to go for a more modern intricate chiptune feel I would say to add more to the background and make the main loop sound ( the loudest sound that keeps repeating ) a little more varied maybe. Once again, I'm no music pro so I don't know the terms or anything but I hope this helps. By the way, what programs and apparatus did you use to make this?

Ikaros223 responds:

Just fl studio and some basic plugins and samples ive had I bitcrushed

I'm not a very good music critic, but this is why I love this. The melody has depth; not just a simple beat but background tracks that go nicely too. And the overall sound is just amazing, I love the feel of this. I know this isn't a good review, but it's the best I could do to try to explain why I like this

Mekkatech responds:

Thanks :) I'm glad you like it

Various animation.
